What To Expect

When people visit one of our churches, the top comment we hear is how impacted they were through experiencing God’s presence. We believe that God’s purpose in gathering His Church together is to meet with us in a profound way. We do not meet just to go through a routine, but rather to commune with God and each other in meaningful and life-changing ways.

Worship

When you visit one of our meetings, you will find a grateful people who deeply love God. We gather together for God and for His pleasure. One way we express this worship is in a time of praising God. We sing, clap, raise our hands, shout, dance, and more in obedience to the Word of God and out of love for Him. We have a contemporary style of music, but style is not as important to us as substance. This is not a concert with a watching audience. We are a people worshiping God together.

Gifts

God declares in scripture that He has graciously given every member of His Body amazing gifts that are to be used for the common good. When you attend one of our meetings, you can expect to see these gifts being expressed. We do not just want to speak to God; we also want to hear from Him through His people. During our meetings, different people come forward and bring prophecies, songs, Scriptures, messages in tongues accompanied by interpretations, and prayers, all for the building up of the church. We always endeavor to practice these gifts in an ordered way for the edification of the church.

Teaching

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the final authority on all matters pertaining to faith and practice. We know that the Scripture is not a museum of God’s past words, but a living and active declaration of what God is still saying. When we meet, we spend time together listening to His Word through teaching and preaching. You can expect to hear the Bible opened up in ways that are faithful to its meaning and relevant to your life.

Children & Youth

We are so grateful for children and know that they are a blessing from God. At our meetings, we desire to reach the hearts of the children as much as we do the adults. We sing together as families in worship to God. Following that time, the children go to classes specifically designed for them and appropriate to their age. We have been blessed with many gifted teachers who take the foundational truths of the Bible and connect them to the hearts of our children. Their times together are fun times of learning and growing.

Fellowship

As well as loving God, we love each other. Though we come from different backgrounds, ethnicities and even nations, we know that God has joined us together through the sacrificial work of Christ. The Gospel has made us a people, not just saved individuals. When we come together, we want to grow in relationship with God and each other. We often break in the middle of our meetings or at different times to give space for people to talk and connect. We also meet throughout the week in small groups.

FAQ

Our Connect Cafe goes from 9:00am til 9:20am where you can enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks, while connecting with fellow members of our church family.

Our first meeting runs between 9:30am til 11:00pm, and our second meeting runs from 11:30pm til 1:00pm.

For first-time visitors, our dedicated Connect team is here to answer any questions you may have, and help you settle-in to a seat.

If you have any children, they will even help you register them for our children’s ministry.

When you arrive, one of our connect team will be on the door to meet you and show you around. If  you have children, they can help you register them for the right groups and show you their rooms. They’ll help you find a good seat in the main hall and make you feel at home! If you have any questions or need something in particular, just ask!

Yes. We provide groups for children ages 1-13.  The groups are run by DBS-checked volunteers from the church, and are age-specific. We ask parents to pre-register their children for groups before the gathering starts. You can do this in the foyer. Then, on a normal Sunday, the children join in the worship in the main gathering, after which they will be released to their groups. After the gathering finishes, parents will be reminded to go and collect their children. If you have any questions when with us on a Sunday, please ask our children’s workers.

We just wear what makes us feel happy and comfortable. That might be a favourite jeans and a t-shirt, a nice dress, a shirt, or even ceremonial robes!

Unfortunately we only have limited parking on site, so please arrive early if you need a space close to our Gipsy Lane building.

We have done our best to make our gatherings as accessible as possible. The main entrance to the building is via a pavement accessible by several ramps. Once inside there is a disabled toiled on the ground floor. If you have any specific needs or questions, please ask us!

No – all are welcome! If you are exploring the Christian faith and you have questions, come visit us and experience why we believe following Jesus is the best decision you could make with your life.
